Through Illini GivePulse, faculty and staff can administer and post opportunities for service-learning projects, special events or any volunteer need. Illini GivePulse is an online platform used to list, find, organize, and measure the impact of service-learning, philanthropy, and volunteerism in the community, both on and off campus. Administrators can customize their opportunities to fit their specific purpose.

By giving to the Campus Charitable Fund Drive employees can help improve the lives of people in our community and around the world. CCFD gives university employees precise control over where their contributions are spent. Whether you want to help alleviate poverty and hunger, preserve a natural area, fight discrimination, prevent child abuse, or cure a deadly disease, there is a nonprofit working to see these goals become reality.
Emerging Community Leaders (ECL) is a personal development program designed for professionals to learn how they can impact our community through nonprofit volunteerism. Through this program, participants learn about our community and the needs we face through the eyes of nonprofit partners and volunteers. With the expansion of in-person activities, we are excited to bring this program exclusively to our faculty and employees who may be new to the area and have a desire to enhance their understanding of the surrounding community.
Faculty and Administrators from Minority Serving Institutions can reach out to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign MSI Alliance if interested in working with research collaborators at Illinois. Our office works closely with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation and can assist in making connections with the campus interdisciplinary research centers and institutes.
We aim to build extensive multi-directional partnerships between Illinois and participating MSIs. Through the support of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign MSI Alliance Illinois faculty are encouraged to provide outreach to MSIs through faculty exchanges, research collaborations, and co-teaching.
