iExplore Illinois | University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
iExplore Illinois
A Campus–Community Compact initiative connecting K–12 students with campus experiences that highlight
educational pathways, careers, and opportunities at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
A Campus–Community Compact initiative led by the Office of Public Engagement, connecting campus and
community through student-focused experiences at Illinois.
OUR PURPOSE
To expand access to the University of Illinois by providing K–12 students with exposure to campus life,
academic pathways, and career possibilities.
WHAT WE DO
We coordinate structured campus visits that introduce students to university spaces, hands-on learning
experiences, and a wide range of academic and career pathways.
WHY IT MATTERS
For many students, iExplore is their first visit to a university campus. These experiences help demystify
higher education, broaden awareness of career possibilities, and foster a sense of belonging.
Host a Visit

activities that showcase the breadth of campus offerings.
